Get to know your favorite chiropractor, Dr. Chip Studley!

Dr. Chip Studley is a Doctor of Chiropractic that works in Sacramento, California, where he also lives, raises his family, and is active in the community. We’d love for you to get to know Dr. Chip better, so, in this ongoing series, we’ll sit down with him and ask him some fun, revealing, and personal questions.

Let’s get to know Dr. Chip Studley!

So, where are you from?

I’m from Boston, Massachusetts (born in Malden, MA).

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

I always wanted to be a pilot growing up!

Where did you go to college?

I went to UC Davis and then, Palmer Chiropractic College – West.

What did you study?

I got my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Biology Emphasis and then my Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC).

Do you have family?

Yes, and they’re totally my “Why”! I’ve been married for twelve years to my wonderful and beautiful wife, Sara, who is a teacher. We have two children, Emerson (9 years old) and Kaylin (6).

Pets?

We have an 11-year old Chocolate Lab named Bodega, after Bodega Bay.

Bodega Bay holds a special place in the heart of my wife and I because we went there a lot when we were dating, and eventually I proposed to her on the beach of Bodega Bay. When it came time to get a dog, the name was an instant winner!

We also have a Cockapoo named Fenway (after the Boston Red Sox of course!) who is one year old.

What are three things about you not many people know?

  1. I served in the Air Force for four years.
  2. I lived in England for 18 months as a civilian.
  3. I put myself through school 100% on my own, which I’m proud of!

What do you love about your job?

There are so many things I love about being a chiropractor!

For me, it’s being able to be of service to others, helping people feel better and get back to their lives. I love that I get to make a living doing something that often does not feel like work. I truly enjoy what I do and NEVER get the “Monday Blues!”

How would your patients describe you?

Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. (I hope!)

What would your staff and coworkers say about you?

That I’m hardworking and determined.

Favorite holiday?

Thanksgiving

Favorite sports team?

The New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox!

Do you prefer cold weather or hot?

I prefer cooler weather because you can always put on more layers if you need to.

What are your hobbies, interests, and passions?

I love working out and being active, like with weight training, cycling, training for triathlons, and playing tennis, basketball, softball, and golf.

I also love music and going to live concerts!

What else do you like doing in your downtime?

Resting after a long week! Haha. I also love spending time with the kids, listening to music, and getting together with friends.

Describe your perfect Sunday:

Football on TV, time with the kids, and a BBQ in the backyard!

Favorite Netflix series:

Hell On Wheels was a good one.

What advice would you give to those who aren’t your patients yet or aren’t familiar with chiropractic?

Come see me!

I’d love to tell you more about what I do, how it can help you, and give you an adjustment. You’ll feel better and want to come back, again and again!
